On 30th May 2025, the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo, Professor Indika Mahesh Karunathilake, paid an official visit to the Institute of Human Resource Advancement (IHRA).
He was warmly welcomed at the Institute premises by the Director of IHRA, Professor Sagara Chandrasekara, along with academic and administrative staff. During the visit, Professor Chandrasekara shared key insights into the Institute’s ongoing initiatives, current challenges, and potential opportunities for development.
An engaging discussion followed, where the Vice Chancellor offered valuable guidance and proposed strategic approaches to address the concerns highlighted by the Director. His suggestions focused on strengthening academic programs, improving infrastructure, and fostering collaborations that align with the University’s broader vision.
