“Speak Korean Right, Taste Korean Bright & Glow with K-Beauty”

The Institute of Human Resource Advancement (IHRA), University of Colombo, successfully conducted Unlocking Korean Opportunities & Culture 2.0, an interactive cultural and language enrichment workshop for students of the IHRA Korean Language Programme.

The workshop provided students with a valuable opportunity to enhance their language skills while experiencing authentic aspects of Korean culture through practical engagement. Key highlights of the session included:

• Practising correct Korean pronunciation with the guidance of a Korean native volunteer
• Experiencing Korean cuisine through hands-on food preparation sessions (Kimbap & Ramen)
• Exploring Korean beauty culture through an interactive K-Beauty session

This initiative served as a meaningful platform for students to strengthen their Korean language proficiency while gaining firsthand exposure to Korean cultural practices in an engaging and immersive environment.

IHRA 한국어 과정 학생들을 위한 문화 및 언어 체험 워크숍 Unlocking Korean Opportunities & Culture 2.0가 성공적으로 진행되었습니다.

본 워크숍을 통해 학생들은 다음과 같은 다양한 체험 활동에 참여할 수 있었습니다.

• 한국인 원어민 자원봉사자와 함께 정확한 한국어 발음 연습
• 김밥과 라면 만들기 체험을 통한 한국 음식 문화 경험
• K-Beauty 체험 세션을 통한 한국 뷰티 문화 이해

이번 프로그램은 학생들이 한국어 실력을 향상시키는 동시에 한국 문화를 보다 자연스럽고 실질적으로 이해할 수 있는 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.
