The Institute of Human Resource Advancement (IHRA), University of Colombo, successfully held the inauguration ceremony of the Master of Business Management (MBM) 14/2026 – Foreign Students’ Batch on 01 September 2026 at the IHRA Auditorium, University of Colombo.
The ceremony marked the commencement of an exciting academic journey for the new cohort of international students. The programme commenced with the lighting of the traditional oil lamp and the National Anthem, followed by a video presentation.
The students were warmly welcomed and introduced by the Course Coordinator, Mr. Nihal Hewage, Senior Lecturer, IHRA, University of Colombo, followed by an address by Prof. DAC Suranga Silva, Director of IHRA, University of Colombo. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Sugandika Sandamali, Senior Lecturer, IHRA, University of Colombo.
The event was attended by academic and administrative staff members of the Institute of Human Resource Advancement, University of Colombo, who joined in welcoming and encouraging the new batch of international students as they embarked on their academic journey.
