Workshop for Bachelor of Labour Management (BLM) – Year I (Academic Year 2025/2026)

The Workshop for Bachelor of Labour Management (BLM) – Year I, conducted for the Academic Year 2025/2026, was successfully held on 20th and 21st December 2025 at the Sarvodaya Development Education Centre, Thanamalwila. The workshop was designed to enhance students’ academic understanding and practical knowledge in the field of labour management, while providing an interactive learning environment. Participants actively engaged in discussions and activities that supported their academic and professional development.

The IHRA 50th Anniversary Celebration

The Institute of Human Resource Advancement (IHRA) of the University of Colombo celebrated its 50th Anniversary on 16th June 2025. The event was made especially significant by the presence of the Institute’s esteemed founding figure, Dr. Kumari Jayawardena, whose birthday also falls on the same day.
