The Institute of Human Resource Advancement (IHRA), University of Colombo successfully conducted its Annual Planning Workshop for the year 2026 on 19th December 2025 at the Laya Beach Hotel, Wadduwa, from 9.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
The primary objective of the workshop was to adopt a practical and results-oriented approach to the tasks outlined in the Action Plan of the Institute, ensuring alignment with the IHRA Strategic Plan 2026–2030. The deliberations and outcomes of the workshop are expected to significantly contribute to the effective achievement of IHRA’s institutional goals in the year ahead.
The workshop brought together nearly 80 participants, including IHRA staff members and members of the Board of Management, who actively engaged throughout the sessions. The event provided a valuable platform for collective discussion, reflection, and forward planning. Members of the Board of Management contributed their valuable insights, comments, and constructive suggestions aimed at strengthening the Institute’s work plan and ensuring effective implementation.
