The Inauguration of the Service Management Programs of 2022/23 intake was successfully held under the guidance of the Ms. KP Mathotaarachchi (Course Coordinator of Service Management Unit, Senior Lecturer). The ceremony held on Sunday, 13th November 2022 at the Main Auditorium, College House, University of Colombo. Around two hundreds of students were warmly welcomed for Master of Science in Service Management(MSc.SM), Higher Diploma in Service Management(HDSM), Diploma in Service Management(DSM) and Executive Diploma in Tourism, Event and Hospitality Management(EDTEHM).
The Vice Chancellor Snr.Prof.(Chair) HD Karunaratne was the Chief Guest and Prof. MPP Dharmadasa (The Dean, Faculty of Management & Finance, UoC), Prof. DAC Suranga Silva (Senior Academic Advisor, Faculty of Arts, UoC), Prof. Sagara Chandrasekara (Director,IHRA), Mr. RPB Thilakasiri (Director General, Department of Samurdhi Development), Dr. Amal Illesinghe (Deputy General Manager IT, National Savings Bank (NSB), Mr. Upul Rathnayake (Director General of Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority) were the guests of the event.
