A Field Visit was successfully conducted on 15^th and 29^th October 2022 at Mental Health Training Unit of National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) situated in Mulleriya for Diploma in Counselling Psychology 2022 students. The students were participated in an orientation program about National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).

The event was organized by of Prof. Sagara Chandrasekara (Course Coordinator of Counselling Psychology Unit, Senior Lecturer, Director IHRA) with the participation of resource persons, Mr.KDN Hewage (Senior Lecturer) and Ms.TMSS Tennakone(Visiting lecturer).

The students were able to visit the wards of National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) physically, and discuss and observe the patients gained lots of practical knowledge on mental disorders.
