Overview
Ms. Chamari Edirisinghe, presently the Lecture (Probationary) in Human Resource Management at Institute of Human Resource Advancement, University of Colombo, obtained her B.Sc. Human Resource Management (Special) from University of Sri Jayewardenepura and completed Professional Qualification in Human Recourse Management at Institute of Personal Management, Sri Lanka.
Ms. Chamari was also received the The Jayanta Jayaratna Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Performance in the Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management at the convocation of the Institute of Personal Management, October 29, 2015.
Her research focuses on contemporary issues in Human Resource Management. She published articles on international journal as well as in local publication.
Apart from her academic she has engaged in sports both at Devi Balika Vidyalaya Colombo as well as in University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She won school colours and university colours for badminton.
Teaching
Ms. Chamari teaches Human Resource Management for students in Institute.
Research
Ms. Chamari currently involved in a research project which aims to study on glass ceiling effect among female executives in Sri Lankan apparel industry.
